About this part

PrimoChill CTR (Compression Tube Reservoir) System Phase II is the latest in a slew of new products that PrimoChill is catering towards the modders and their need for color!!! What makes the NEW CTRs so unique and not like anything on the market today is the ingenious compression ring end caps that make a water tight seal without the need to cut or tap the end of the reservoir. Similar to the PrimoChill Rigid fittings, the CTR Phase II uses the same principal for securing and sealing off the acrylic tube with little to no force on the tube which prevents cracking. CTRs are the next best thing in the water cooling industry giving the user the flexibility of color as well as sizes to fit their build perfectly. CTRs are certain to be copied, but remember that PrimoChill’s are Made in the USA, by Americans..

This is what love looks like

There are a lot of tube style reservoirs in the market but seldom do any have a decent port at the top of the tube to allow the port to be used for actual tubing instead of JUST filling. This thing was seriously engineered to allow for a top port to be used while still allowing it to be filled with ease. Not only that but if you do indeed use a top port for the inlet port it makes a really unique swirl pattern which works with the Vue the best way I have seen in any tube reservoir yet. VERY happy with this product.

Before you install it

This is a component, not an assembly — how it goes in depends on the loop it is joining. What does not change is the last step: leak test before power. Run the pump on a bench supply with the rest of the system unpowered. 24 hours is the standard, an hour is the minimum.

Custom water cooling is installed by you, at your own risk. We are not responsible for leaks, or for damage to your parts or system. If you're unsure at any step, ask before you power the loop.
