Before you install it

This kit is the plumbing between your parts, not the loop itself. Plan and dry-fit every run before you cut or bend, and whatever the build, the last step does not change: leak test before power. Run the pump on a bench supply with the rest of the system unpowered. 24 hours is the standard, an hour is the minimum.

Custom water cooling is installed by you, at your own risk. We are not responsible for leaks, or for damage to your parts or system. If you're unsure at any step, ask before you power the loop.

Pump Specific Warnings
Use of caustic and/or abrasive coolant will void your warranty (see warranty section) and may cause your pump to fail. Do not run the pump dry.

The D5 and DDC range of pumps are designed to be self-lubricating, meaning the fluid that the pump is designed to move is also used to lubricate its internal parts.

Therefore, you should not run the pumps without fluid for any reason. Running these pumps dry creates internal friction between the ceramic bearing and bearing housing, and that heat can quickly crack or melt the bearing housing.

Running pumps dry (without fluid) immediately voids the warranty. Replacements will not be provided under these condition

What else do I need for a loop?

The kit covers the tubing side: the tube, the fittings and the tools to cut and bend it. You still need a pump and reservoir, a radiator, water blocks and coolant. The Build planner works out the rest from the parts you have.

Can I return it if it turns out not to fit?

Yes. Returns are accepted within 30 days and are easy to start in the support center. Unopened items can be returned for store credit with no restocking fee; other returns carry a restocking fee, higher for items that have been installed or used. So we would rather check the fit with you first: send us the model and we will check it against this part.
